Serbian newspapers have reported that Karadzic's wife Ljiljana helped lead police to the former Bosnian Serb leader as an act of vengeance. Meanwhile Karadzic's lawyer says his detention was illegal, claiming that he was unlawfully held in an undisclosed location before being formally arrested.
